Welcome to the Orange Mountain House! We’re proud of the space we’ve created in our home away from home and can’t wait to share it with you. The Orange Mountain House can accommodate up to six adults or four adults and two children. We also have a pack and play if you’re looking to get out of town with your little one. We hope you love this space as much as we do and have a comfortable stay in the Catskills. And please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

Living Room and Kitchen

The main living space in the Orange Mountain House gets incredible all-day natural light through wraparound windows. Relax on one of the comfy sofas and put your feet up on the coffee table. Enjoy the unobstructed views of the surrounding woods or turn on the smart TV and stream your favorite show. The kitchen has all tools and equipment you’ll need to make a tasty meal, plus basics like oil, salt and pepper to get you started. If you need to stop for groceries and a bottle of wine, visit the Explore the Catskills page for maps to our local grocery and liquor stores, along with other favorite nearby attractions, activities and restaurants.

Bedrooms

Orange Mountain House king bedroom

King Room

Opposite the sunrise and backing up to the woods, makes this room the darkest in the house and perfect for sleeping in. Might as well. It’ll be hard to get out of the comfy king bed anyway..

Orange Mountain House queen bedroom

Queen Room

Looking out into the backyard, you’ll often see deer grazing if you’re up early. If the mornings aren’t your thing, this room also stays darker later so snuggle up in the queen bed and hit the snooze.

The bottom bunk is a full with a twin above. If you’re traveling with a little one, we have a pack and play and changing table in the closet, both of which fit comfortably in the room.

Bathroom and Laundry

A skylight in the vaulted ceiling above the shower gives the bathroom the most natural light of any room in the house after the main living area. It also frames a nice view of the clouds while you scrub a dub dub. There’s also a washer and dryer next to the kitchen if you want to clean your hiking or skiing clothes before heading home.
